Social Engineering Awareness & Prevention Training
Protect your organization from manipulation, phishing, and human-targeted attacks.
Technology alone cannot prevent security breaches. Social engineering exploits human behavior online and offline. This training equips your team with the awareness and practical skills needed to recognize and prevent manipulation attempts.
Why care about Social Engineering?
Cybercriminals increasingly target people instead of systems. Phishing emails, impersonation, phone scams, and in-person deception can bypass even the strongest technical safeguards.
We combine cybersecurity expertise with behavioral analysis and use our experience in human computer interaction and interface design to provide realistic, practical training.
Our Workshop Formats
Online Awareness Talk
One-liner
Overview of common attack strategies and warning signs.
On-Site Interactive Workshop
One-liner
Talk about common attack strategies combined with realistic scenario simulations and behavioral exercises.
Risk Assessment Session
One-liner
Evaluation of your organization’s vulnerability patterns.
What You Will Learn – Training Content
Our workshops provide an overview of the most important social engineering attack strategies. Typical attack methods are presented and explained. Using real or simulated examples, we demonstrate which warning signs to look out for and what precautions to take to prevent the disclosure of confidential information. We take a particularly close look at:
Phishing & spear-phishing tactics
Pretexting & impersonation
Physical access manipulation & tailgating
Psychological triggers & baiting methods
Social networking & misuse of public information
Interactive Simulations
Social Engineering Awareness Test
At the end of a training workshop, a digital test can be administered to measure social engineering awareness. We will evaluate this test and calculate an awareness score.
Mobile App: The Mobile Engineer
Participants in our training course will have access to the mobile app “The Mobile Engineer – A Social Engineering Awareness Quiz” upon completion. This app allows them to review training content and take various quizzes on the topic of social engineering.
VR Simulation: The Social Engineer
On-site workshops offer the opportunity to test the virtual reality game “The Social Engineer.” There, various realistic social engineering scenarios can be experienced in an immersive and interactive environment.
